At Ahswanee Farm we grow food organically (no pesticides, herbicides, any kind of -cides!). The Farm is not certified organic. The Farmer utilizes different methods to minimize crop failures, such as: planting different varieties of the same crop, succession planting, row covering, electric fencing, and irrigation. Ahswanee Farm strives to be a good steward of the land by farming with minimal impact to the soil and supporting native pollinators by providing food sources and a safe habitat free from pesticides. To learn more about pollinators and how you can protect them, check out the Xerces Society.
